The newly built children's playground in Gornji Grbalj, worth 14 thousand euros, is not only a place to play, but also an oasis of unforgettable moments for more and more of children in the area.
This was announced during a tour of the playground, which was built thanks to a donation from Crnogorski elektroprenosni sistem (CGES), and which was visited today by representatives of that company, the local community of Gornji Grbalj and the Tourist Organisation of Kotor.
The Chairman of the CGES Board of Directors, Aleksandar Mijušković, said that the company's dedication to the community and commitment to corporate social responsibility clearly show the importance of investing in the happiness and development of the youngest members of the community.
“We selflessly provide support and contribute to creating a nicer environment for our children. This initiative is part of our ongoing responsible and dedicated relationship to strengthening the communities in which we operate. The donation that enabled the construction of the playground is part of our broader commitment to social responsibility”, Mijušković said.
He also reminded that the social responsibility of CGES includes activities that contribute to the community, environment and society.
"This includes support for local communities, sustainable business practices and engagement in humanitarian projects," Mijušković specified, adding that CGES will continue to contribute to society and the community through corporate social responsibility in the coming period.
The representative of the Gornji Grbalj local community, Radosav Tujković, pointed out the importance of the second playground in that community.
“This valuable donation is not only a gift, but also a symbol of care and attention towards our children. Considering the dynamic development of our area, with many new buildings and a constant increase in the number of inhabitants, such steps are of vital importance. We are grateful to CGES for this donation”, Tujković said.
The Director of the Tourist Organisation of Kotor, Jovan Ristić, emphasised the organisation's commitment to humanitarian projects, stressing that every year they allocate significant funds for their support.
“In our continuous engagement, we support all companies, both private and state, that operate in our area. We invite them to follow our example and to contribute together to the realisation of such humanitarian projects. If each of us contributes according to our capabilities, we can together build a society that is going in the right direction", Ristić said.
He said that he expects that there will be more similar initiatives in the future.
"We are convinced that, with joint efforts, we can improve the perspective of the society we live in," Ristić said.
