The Patronage Agreement for VIII Session of the Montenegrin Committee of the International Council on Large Electric Systems (CG KO CIGRE), which will take place between the 9thand 12th May 2023 in Budva, was signed by CGES Executive Director Ivan Asanović and the President of CG KO CIGRE, Predrag Mijajlović.
In addition to the leadership role played by Crnogorski elektroprenosni sistem in the economic development of Montenegro as well as in active participation in new market challenges through investing in green energy, modern technologies, and capacities, maintenance, and optimal use of resources, the CGES has also been recognized by an open determination to be at the very top of socially responsible companies.
Maintaining a good practice of supporting scientific, professional, and educational institutions in the country, CGES will be a main patron of CG KO CIGRE Session, not only as one of the founders of this organization but also because the key to success in achieving impressive results of CGES is its employees. Constant professional training of its staff, as the company's most valuable resource, was and remains the primary task of this energy undertaking.
In addition to the financial assistance in organizing the Session, the goal is to fully open, through research, expert and scientific topics elaborated in more than 90 expert papers seek solutions to the open issues of the complexity of future energy challenges by strengthening and developing the exchange of opinions, knowledge, and information among experts through a living word, affirming and encouraging the creation of a new energy concept, will, by all means, have a significant impact on the overall social life in the country.
The CG KO CIGRE Session will bring together over 200 eminent scientists, professionals, and business people from Montenegro and the SEE countries.
