Today in Podgorica, Crnogorski elektroprenosni sistem (CGES) signed with the Paralympic Committee of Montenegro (POKCG) a one-year Sponsorship Agreement worth EUR 20,000.
CGES’s Executive Director Dragan Kujović and POKCG’s Chairman Igor Tomić signed the Sponsorship Agreement.
At the very beginning, Dragan Kujović said that he could not hide immense pleasure for having the honour and privilege that CGES, for the third year in a row, supports the Paralympic Committee of Montenegro through the Sponsorship Agreement.
He also stressed that he is happy that CGES, as a company that has built its image as a socially responsible company, succeeded to provide funds to support POKCG also this year.
“Everyone in our company has their hearts full because CGES, as the first sponsor of POKCG, at least contributed in some way that our athletes, people with a big heart, steel will and cheerful spirit, achieve success and results that are for every bit of praise”, Kujović emphasised.
He wished the athletes and management of POKCG to continue with valuable work, the enthusiasm they have shown so far and cheerful atmosphere that is present among them.
“I wish that also in the following period and especially in this year, which is the Paralympic year and thus very important, our Paralympic athletes continue with hard work, while CGES will, of course, be with them as support also in the following period”, Kujović said.
Finally, Kujović added that he hopes that he will celebrate some new successes together with our Paralympic athletes.
Tomić said that said he was particularly pleased that POKCG has been recognised in CGES’ socially responsible activities for the third year in a row.
I would like to heartily thank our first official sponsor CGES, a company that is recognised in Montenegrin society for its strong sensibility, not only when it comes to Montenegrin Paralympic and Montenegrin athletes, but also concerning other sensitive areas of our society such as education and health. And today you have once again shown not only that you are successful as a company, but that you are big as peopleand have a high level of social responsibility", Tomić said. He stressed that he is sure that the Paralympic athletes, with their results, will justify CGES’s attention in the most beautiful way.
Filip Radović, a great Montenegrin Paralympic athlete, did not hide his pleasure for the support he and his colleagues had received.
“I would take this opportunity to thank Crnogorski elektroprenosni sistem on behalf of all athletes for the support it provides to the Paralympic Committee. This support will be of utmost importance for us athletes, especially in this Olympic year when we have a very difficult and demanding qualifying trip to Tokyo", Radović said.
He also added that this support is of great importance because athletes do not have to think about financial problems, but there is a team behind them to take care of this, while athletes should only work hard and develop and continue to pursue the best possible sport results.
After signing the Sponsorship Agreement, young table tennis player Filip Radović Filip Radovic handed a jersey and racket to CGES’s Executive Director Dragan Kujovic.
