CONTRACT ON PURCHASE AND IMPLEMENTATION OF ERP AND DMS SYSTEM SIGNED

 

CGES and the consortium of companies Saga – Podgorica, NPS – Belgrade and Čikom - Podgorica signed in early November a contract for the supply and implementation of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and DMS (Document Management System) system, worth almost 1.4 million

Although CGES’s processes have been mostly automated so far, by purchasing the ERP Microsoft 365 Business Central we obtain a software system for managing business processes that will allow our company to use an integrated application system and its parts. In a word, ERP will allow CGES to manage all resources in an efficient way, while the DMS, as a software system for managing documents, will perform electronic storage, monitoring and management of business documents. More than a 100 employees will be engaged on the implementation of this project.

The main advantages that will be obtained by implementing the new business system can be found in a complete and updated business system according to the “day by day” principle, then quality and smart business analyses as well as the establishment of a system for a fast, clear and creative reporting. We cannot forget also the possibility of developing consolidated reports and increasing data quality (belief in accuracy) as bases for proper decision-making.

Putting under control all business processes, thereby allowing an immediate availability of all data regardless of the place or entry or request, is also one of the advantages of the ERP system.

By introducing ERP and DMS systems, CGES will complete the digitalisation of its operation.
