Crnogorski elektroprenosni sistem (CGES) donated a modern operating table of high technological characteristics, worth 35,000 euro, to the hospital “Danilo I” in Cetinje, thus ensuring better care of surgical patients, as well as easier work for the employees in the operational block, told director of the hospital “Danilo I” Sonja Radojičić at today's event on the occasion of the donation of the most modern operating table, stating that CGES thereby confirmed to be a successful and socially responsible company.
"I want to thank the great humanist Vesna Bracanović and her team for the time spent and sensibility expressed towards the needs of our institution. The staff of Cetinje Hospital greatly appreciate your help and understanding, wishing you to continue achieving great results in your work and doing such humane activities", told Radojičić.
She pointed out that prior to this donation, surgeons, gynaecologists and anesthetists worked and performed operations on an unfavourable operating table for more than a year.
CGES Board of Directors Chairwoman Vesna Bracanović pointed out that CGES, performing its core activity of safe and reliable electricity transmission, through socially responsible activities, continuously provides support to the community in which it operates and works.
"Therefore, this donation is another support to the health care system of Montenegro, which, I hope, will contribute to the improvement of medical services, and on the other hand, it will be useful and beneficial to the patients", told Bracanović.
The donation to the hospital “Danilo I”, as she explains, is one of the aspects of socially and responsible operations of the company we consider particularly important.
"In the previous period, we made several donations to the Clinical Center of Montenegro, that is, the Institute for Child Diseases, General Hospital Pljevlja. I want to emphasize that we consider this segment of our socially responsible operations extremely important, and in the future we will continue to develop and deal with it with special care", told Bracanović.
The Mayor of the Capital Cetinje, Aleksadar Kašćelan, told that the CGES’ donation shows how important it is to recognize the significance of socially responsible operations, as well as networking of various social and corporate players for the benefit of the community.
"I am particularly pleased that CGES recognized the Capital Cetinje as a reliable partner and accepted our proposal to donate significant funds in the form of an operating table to the hospital “Danilo I”. This strengthened not only the capacities of this healthcare institution to continue to provide supreme medical services, by which it is recognizable, told Kašćelan, but the significance of the donation is much higher if, as he told, we have in mind that the hospital "Danilo I" is the oldest health institution in the country and as such deserves special attention and treatment.
"All this for the welfare of the citizens of the Capital and all the others who deserve to have and should have the best possible medical care. On behalf of the citizens of the Capital, I would like to thank CGES for the donation and friendship that has been confirmed many times so far. I would like to affirm to the management of our hospital that they can find a strong support in the Capital and the will to work together to improve capacities for the benefit of our fellow citizens”, told Kašćelan.
