Traditionally, CGES has joined also this 19th March a global action Earth Hour, which is promoted in Montenegro by a non-governmental organization “Green Home”. By switching off the lights on its facilities and estimating or measuring savings in real time after conducting the action of switching off the lights for an hour by citizens and companies, our company has symbolically confirmed its devoutness to sustainable development, encouraging energy efficiency and renewable energy sources, all with the aim of safeguarding the environment. Optimally planned and regularly maintained electric power network, which is efficiently operated, is an irreplaceable segment of the efficiently self-maintained power system. Being aware of this fact we intent to develop the system in the future.
This year most savings on consumption have been made in Danilovgrad, nearly 10 per cent and in Podgorici about 6 per cent, while at the level of the whole country savings have been made at 0.6 per cent.
